At the time when the matter was taken on 11.07.2024,therewasno representation on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was posted to 24.07.2024. When the matter was called on 24.07.2024,learnedcounselfor the petitioner has appeared before this Court and has sought adjournment. Thereafter, the matter was directed to be listed on 01.08.2024, but as learned counsel for the petitioner was not present on 01.08.2024,thematterwas directed to be listed under the caption “for dismissal”. Subsequently, though the matter was listed on several occasions under the aforesaid caption i.e. on 21.08.2024, 23.08.2024 and 30.08.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
Even today, though the matter was listed under the caption “For Dismissal”, none appeared for the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner is not evincing any interest in the present case.
Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for default.Nocosts.
