This Writ Petition is filed, under Article 226 of the

Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:

"....to issue the Writ order or direction preferablya writ the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not providing police protection to the^Christian prayers meetings to be conducted from 6‘’ to 9^ february at Gunta grounds Guntur as illegal arbitrary and violation of article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the responcints to provcie police protection^theChristian prayers meetings to be held from 6th to 9th february^Gunta grounds Guntur....”

None appeared for the petitioners. On earlier occasion also i.e., on 02.01.2024, none appeared for the petitioners.

Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents.

On a perusal of the material on record, this Court observed that the matter is filed in the year 2014^seeking police protection to conduct Christian prayers from 6th to 9* february at Gunta Grounds, Guntur in the year 2014 itself.

In view of the submissions made by learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and upon perusing the

material available on record, this Court i IS of the view t^t,

the relief sought in the Writ Petition does not survive after a period of decade.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
