The Court made the following Order:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare for the respondent Nos.1 and 3 to 7 and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance for the respondent No.2.

This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in not releasing the financial assistance of Rs.10,00,000/- to the daughter of the petitioner, Nelluri Vasantha as per the G.O.Rt.No.174 dated 07.12.2017 r/w

G.O.Ms.No.29 dated 27.08.2016 despite sanction of funds by the Government under Application ID.No.OV2018120540.

On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare upon receipt of written instructions submits that, the petitioner is entitled for the above said financial assistance under the Welfare Scheme of Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme. But he seeks some more time for payment of the same by following the due procedure.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance also seeks time to pay the said amount immediately in due course.

In view of the above said facts and circumstances, the respondents are directed to release the financial assistance of Rs.10,00,000/- to the daughter of the petitioner under application ID.No.OV2018120540 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Interim order if any deemed to have been vacated. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
