technical institute during the academic year 2016-17 shall be considered on its own merits in accordance with the due procedure laid down by law. 4. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms.M.Uma Devi, learned Standing Counsel appearing forthe respondent No.l produced a copy of instructions dated 27.12.2023 received from the Assistant Director (South Central Region). On perusal of the said instructions, it appears that in pursuance of the interim orders passed by this Court, the petitioner has been given full opportunityin due course of time, while considering his applicationfor grant of approval to run MBA course; his case has been scrutinized by the Scrutiny Committee and EVC, however. none of the committees found his case fit for granting approval. Therefore, it is prayed to issue direction to the petitioners to apply afresh for setting up new institution for the year 202425 as and when AICTE notifies for the same through advertisement in leading newspapers and also on the website of the Council. It is further submitted that on submission of the fresh application, the same will be considered by the Council as per the extant Rules and Regulations.
