This Criminal Petition, under Sections 482 and 451 Cr.P.C., has been filed seeking a direction for expeditious disposal of Crl.MP No.1730 of 2023 in Criminal Appeal^No.161 of 2023 on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kurnool.

Today, when the matter came up for admission, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner^herein is owner of the EICHER vehicle bearing registration No.AP-39-TU 6908, which was seized in the present case, registered^forthe offences punishable under Section 420 read with 34^IPCand Section 7(1) of the Essential Commodities Act. The^petitioner filed Crl.MP No.1730 of 2023 in Criminal Appeal No.161 of 2023 for release of the said vehicle for interim custody^onthe ground that he requires the same for eking out his^livelihood and to pay the monthly instalments to the financiers^ofthe vehicle, but so far the said petition has not been^disposedof. Hence he prays to direct the learned Principal District^and

Sessions Judge, Kurnool to dispose of CrI.MP No. 1730^of2023 in Criminal Appeal No. 161 of 2023, as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of^thecase, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the Criminal Petition^witha direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kurnool, to dispose of CrI.MP No.1730 of 2023 in Criminal Appeal No. 161 of 2023 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this^order.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if^any.
