The instant petition under Section 482 of the CodeofCriminal Procedure, 1973 (in short Gr.P.C.”) has been filed by the petitioners/Accused Nos.3, 6, 7, 8 and 11, seeking quashment of the

proceedings against them in Crime No.255 of 2020 of Pamuru Police Station, Prakasam District, registered under Sections 307 and 341 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short ‘I.P.C.’).
- When the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms. D.Prasanna Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State/Respondent No.l would submit that as per the written instructions received from the Station House Officer, Pamur Police Station, charge sheet has been filed in this matter.
- Sri Ineni Venkata Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petition may be disposed of recordingthe same.
- In that view of the matter, the Criminal Petition is dismissed since relief has become infructuous. However, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
