Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the

learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents.

The grievance of the writ petitioner is that, the 4^th respondent has not considered the application of the petitioner dated 01.10.2019 to rectify the mistakes in the revenue records with respect to the land in an extent of Acres 0.70 cents in Survey No.1462/2 of Padamatikona Village, Chinna Mandem Mandal, Annamayya District.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the 4^th respondent allotted the DKT Patta for an extent of Acres 0.60 cents in Survey No.1460/3, Acres 0.22 cents in Survey No.1460/2 and Acres 0.70 cents in Survey No.1462/2 i.e., the total extent of Acres 1.50 cents in Padamatikona Village in Chinna Mandem Mandal, Annamayya District in favour of the petitioner’s father. Ever since, he has been in possession and enjoyment of the said property by raising different crops. The petitioner’s father’s name was also mutated in the revenue records with Adangal/ Pahani and 1-B record. After the demise of the petitioner’s father, the petitioner filed an application before the 4^th respondent for mutation of his name in the revenue records. The revenue authorities issued notices to the interested parties under Section 5 (3) of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadhar Pass Books Act, 1971. Subsequently, the 4^th respondent conducted enquiry and passed a speaking order. Then the 4^th respondent mutated the name of the petitioner in the revenue records i.e., Adangal/pahani and issued pattadhar pass book

with Khata No.421 to the petitioner. Since then, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the same. But mistakenly, the petitioner’s name was deleted in the

adangals/pahani and 1-B record with respect to the land in an extent of Acres 0.70 cents in Survey No.1462/2 of Padamatikona Village, Chinna Mandem Mandal, Annamayya District. Immediately, the petitioner made an application through Mee-seva on 01.10.2019 to make necessary corrections in the adangal and 1-B record, but so far no action has been taken. The petitioner also approached the 2^nd respondent on 26.12.2022 for the same grievance, but there is no positive response from the 2^nd respondent. Hence, this writ petition.

On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the 4^th respondent would consider the application of the petitioner by following the due procedure.

In view of the above said facts and circumstances, the petitioner is permitted to make a fresh application through online from the Village Secretariat concerned for making correction of the revenue records i.e., the adangal/pahani and 1-B register with respect to the Acres 0.70 cents of the land in Survey No.1462/2 of Padamatikona Village, Chinna Mandem Mandal, Annamayya District within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. receipt of such online application, the 4^th respondent shall dispose of the same strictly in accordance with law by conducting a necessary enquiry. After hearing all the parties concerned including the petitioner by giving due opportunity and upon verification of the records and the subject land appropriate orders shall be passed on it’s own merits within a period of four (04) months thereafter.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
