ORDER:
When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is observed from the docket sheet that on 08.11.2023 and 15.11.2023 there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Even though the matter was posted under the caption ‘for Orders’, today also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
Learned Standing Counsel for the Gram Panchayat submitted written instructions stating that the alleged application dated 28.02.2017 submitted by the petitioner seeking permission for construction of the building under Section 121 of the Panchayat Raj Act is not at all available with the office. It is further submitted that if any, application is submitted seeking for permission, the Gram Panchayat will consider the same in accordance with law.
In view of the written instructions submitted by the Standing Counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of. It is needless to observe that the petitioner is at liberty to make application afresh if, she still intends to seek building permission from the Gram Panchayat. Upon submission of such application by the petitioner, the Gram Panchayat is specifically directed to consider the application and pass appropriate orders at the earliest within a reasonable time. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
