Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, while reiterating the contentions raised in the writ affidavit and referring to the material filed before this Court, inter alia submits that the action of the respondents, more particularly the 4^th respondent, in not completing the mutation enquiry and

updating the names of the petitioners in respect of the subject matter land is not tenable. He submits that initially the petitioners filed an application for mutation through Spandana programme on 28.2.2022, thereafter the petitioners made another application on 31.5.2022, and pursuant to the orders passed in Writ Petition No.14549 of 2022 filed by some third parties, notices have been issued to all the concerned on 17.9.2022 proposing to conduct enquiry on 24.9.2022 and the petitioners appeared before the 4^th respondent along with all the relevant documents. He submits that so far the private parties have not appeared for the enquiry. Learned counsel also submits that pursuant to another notice dated 01.10.2022 as also further notice dated 27.10.2022, the petitioners attended before the 4^th respondent and submitted their explanation, but so far the enquiry is not completed. Learned counsel submits that under the said circumstances, the petitioners are constrained to approach this Court.

On the consideration of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and perusing the relief sought for in the writ petition, it can be deduced that the grievance of the petitioners is inaction on the part of the respondents in completing the mutation enquiry and updating the names of the petitioners with regard to the subject matter land, though the enquiry was scheduled on different dates by issuing notices to all the concerned.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader, pursuant to the orders of this Court dated 10.11.2022, secured oral instructions and submits that the enquiry would be completed within a period of one month. He further submits that the petitioners may be directed to cooperate with the enquiry. In the light of the said submission, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition, with a direction to the 4^th respondent to complete the enquiry with regard to mutation of revenue records in respect of the subject matter land, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the

date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state that the petitioners shall also cooperate with the enquiry.

With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
