The present writ petition came to be filed under Article 226

of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

“…to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the delay and inaction on the part of the respondents in rectifying the 1-B register by inserting the names of the petitioners in the place of existing names of strangers in respect of the land extent Ac.5.86 cents, Sy.No.30 of Torraguntapalem Village, Jaggaiahpet Mandal, Krishna District, as arbitrary, illegal and consequently direct the respondent No.1 to insert the names of the petitioners in 1-B register by replacing the existing names in respect of the land extent Ac.5.86 cents, Sy.No.30 of Torraguntapalem Village, Jaggaiahpet Mandal, Krishna District in the interest of justice …”

The brief facts of the case is that the petitioners were the owners of the land in an extent of Ac.5.68 cents situated in Sy. No.30 of Torraguntapalem Village, Jaggaiahpet Mandal, Krishna District and the 1^st respondent herein issued Pattadar Pass Book and title deeds in the petitioners favour.

The main grievance of the petitioners is that in 1-B Register, for the said land, some others names are mentioned instead of their names and the petitioners approached the 1^st

respondent and requested to rectify the mistake and insert their names accordingly.

Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners reiterated the contentions urged in the writ petition and sought direction of this Court to direct the 1^st respondent to consider the letter submitted by the petitioners on 09.04.2015, requesting to enter their names in 1-B Register relating to agriculture land in Sy.No.30 of Torraguntapalem, Jaggaiahpet Mandal.

On the other hand, learned Government Pleader for Revenue on instructions submits that the respondent authority will consider the letter submitted by the petitioners on 09.04.2015 and will pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

In view of the submissions made by both the learned counsel, this court feels it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition directing the 1^st respondent to consider the letter submitted by the petitioners on 09.04.2015 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, if not ordered yet, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, with the above direction, this Writ

Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall
