Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Aswartha Narayana, learned Government Pleader for Services-I.

This Court by an order dated 25.11.2021 disposed of W.P.No.27213 of 2021, with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner subject to the conditions contained in G.O.Ms.No.257, General Administration (Ser.C) Department, dated 10.06.1999. Alleging non-implementation of the said order, the present Contempt Case is filed.

The learned Government Pleader while referring to the material filed along with the counter affidavit, inter alia, submits that pursuant to the orders passed in the Writ Petition, the 2^nd respondent by proceedings dated 10.04.2022 passed orders, inter alia, stating that the petitioner’s case for ad hoc promotion will be considered after completion of three years i.e., on 31.08.2022. In view of the same, as the order has been complied with, the learned Government Pleader submits that the Contempt Case may be closed.

Considering the submissions made and perusing the material on record, the Contempt Case is closed, as nothing survives for adjudication by this Court. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the proceedings dated 10.04.2022, if he is so aggrieved or advised.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending if any shall stand closed.
