The present writ petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.2 in not disposing of the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the orders of respondent No.3 under Regulation 16(2) of the L.I.C. of India (Agents) Regulations, 2017, dated 12.10.2020, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, set aside the same.
