“She is the second daughter to her parents and she is studying postgraduation. The petitioner, who is a resident of Guntakal, forced her to love him and marry him, by stating that if she does not marry him, he will die by taking poison and by lodging a complaint against her parents and her brotherin-law under SC & ST Act making them responsible for his death. While threatening so, he forced her to marry him. On coming to know about the marriage, her parents lodged a complaint before Anantapur II Town P.S., upon which, the police called her and kept her in Ujwala home. Prior to this, the petitioner got her signature on a blank paper and filed this false case alleging that there is a danger to their lives. After filing of this writ petition, the police at Anakapalli took her to the Court. As the petitioner threatened her from a distance, she stated before the Magistrate that she will go along with the petitioner. The petitioner is harassing her every day and he also attempted to press her neck.
