Learned counsel for the petitioners states that both the petitioners are major and they have solemnized their marriage on 14.11.2025 and they have apprehension of life threat from the respondent no.6.

On the other hand, Shri Ashwani Kumar Tripathi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel stated that the present petition was filed on 23.02.2026, which was sworn at about 10:00 AM and by that time no application to police authority was sent. In fact, on 23.02.2026 at 14:20 hours the application was sent to police authority through registered post, therefore, the petitioners have no cause of action and without moving any application to the police authority, the present writ petition was filed on 23.02.2026. He prays for and is granted two weeks time to obtain instructions in the matter.
