Learned counsel for the petitioners states that both the petitioners are major and they have solemnized their marriage on 29.11.2025 and they have apprehension of life threat from the respondent no.5.

On the other hand, Shri Ashwani Kumar Tripathi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel pointed out that the date of the birth of the petitioner no.2 is 01.01.1991 and he is aged about 35 years whereas the petitioner no.2 is aged about 18 years and there is significant age difference between them. It is further pointed out that the petitioner no.1 as well as respondent no.5 are resident of Madhya Pradesh and he has to ascertain as to whether this is the first marriage of the petitioner no.1 and the FIR has been registered in respect of the elopement of the petitioner no.2. He prays for and is granted two weeks time to obtain instructions in the matter.

Till the next date of listing, respondent no.2-Superintendent of Police, District Firozabad is directed to ensure that no harassment is caused to the petitioners at the behest of the respondent no.5 and his family members
