1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

1. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner seeks re-issuance of his passport with the correct date of birth as recorded in his High School Certificate.

1. It is contended that in the year 2014, the passport was initially issued to the petitioner with a date of birth which was not the same as that subsequently recorded in his High School Certificate. However, he submits that his application for re-issuance of the passport has now been closed.
