Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners are major and they have solemnized their marriage on 19.12.2025 at Shiv Mandir, Chandausi, at Sambhal. They have apprehension of life threat from respondent no. 4.

Per contra, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel stated that as per marriage certificate appended at page no. 31, family members of the bride and bridegroom participated in the marriage, therefore, petitioners have no life threat from the respondent no. 4. He has also drawn attention of this Court towards page no. 23 of the petition and stated that some manipulation has been done in this document.

Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel prays for and is granted two weeks time to obtain instructions in the matter.

Put up this case on 18.02.2026, as fresh.

Till the next date of listing, S.P./S.S.P. concerned is directed to ensure that no harassment is made to the petitioners at the behest of respondent nos. 4 and his family members.
