1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and
learned State Counsel for opposite parties.

2. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to
concerned authority to consider petitioner's case
for transfer from District Moradabad to District
Gautambudh Nagar Commissionerate in view of
paragraph no.5 of the Government Order dated
06.05.2025 whereby couple posting has been
permitted.

3. It is submitted that since petitioner's wife
is also working in the same department in
District Gautambudh Nagar Commissionerate,
petitioner may also be posted in the same
district for the interest of his family.

4. For the said grievance, petitioner has already
filed a representation to the authority concerned
but seeks liberty to move a fresh representation.

5. Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into merits of the case, petitioner is

granted liberty to move a fresh representation
before respondent no.2 i.e., Additional Director
General of Police (Establishment) D.G.P.
Headquarter, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. In case such
a representation is filed, the same shall be
considered and decided by the said authority
within a period of two weeks from the date of its
receipt.

6. With the aforesaid observations/directions,
petition stands disposed of.
