Heard Shri Arun Pratap Verma, the learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Vishal Tehlani, the learned Standing Counsel for the State and Shri Pankaj Gupta, the learned counsel for the Gaon Sabha.

By means of the instant petition filed in public interest, the petitioner has sought issuance of a direction for removal of encroachment made over land Gata No.1005 measuring area 0.3360 Hectares which is recorded as Talab and land Gata No.992 measuring area 0.1780 Hectare which is recorded as Naveen Parti, situated at Village Dulhapur Bankat, Tehsil and DistrictGonda .

On the basis of written instructions provided by Tehsildar, Sadar, Gonda, the learned Standing Counsel has stated that proceedings under Section 67(1) of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 for removal of encroachment over the aforesaid gata numbers have already been instituted.

The aforesaid written instructions are taken on record.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed off by issuing a direction to the authorities concerned to conclude the proceedings instituted under Section 67(1) of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 for removal of encroachment over the aforesaid gata numbers expeditiously, in accordance with law.
