This appeal is directed against the order dated 23.09.2025 passed in Writ-C No. 9508 of 2025, whereby learned Single Judge directed the appellant to consider the respondent's application for extension of approval on or before 30.09.2025 by permitting to deposit the amounts which are required to be deposited in accordance with law in relation to the academic session 2025-26.

When the appeal came up before the Division Bench, a Coordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 10.11.2025, while condoning the delay, stayed the order impugned dated 23.09.2025.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent-writ petitioner made submissions that on account of the fact that the academic session 2025-26 has already come to an end and the fact that in view of the interim order granted by this Court, the requisite amount has not been deposited, the writ petition filed by the respondent itself has been rendered infructuous and, therefore, the appeal be also dismissed as having been infructuous.

Counsel for the appellant submitted that the order which was passed by learned Single Judge, despite lack of instructions on behalf of the appellant, cannot be allowed to stand.

Having considered the submissions made and the prayer made by the counsel for the respondents regarding the status of the writ petition on account of non-deposit of the requisite amounts for the session 2025-26, while making the order dated 10.11.2025 passed by this Court staying the order dated 23.09.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge absolute, the appeal stands disposed of.
