1. Heard Learned counsel for the applicant; and Sri Devesh Nath Tiwari, Learned A.G.A. and Sri Shiv Babu, learned Brief Holder, appearing for the State.

2. The present anticipatory bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant in Case Crime No. 657 of 2025, under Sections 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 316(5), 61(2) and 238 of the B.N.S., 2023, and Section 66D of the Information Technology Act, Police Station – Kotwali Karwi, District Chitrakoot, with a prayer to enlarge him on anticipatory bail, as the applicant apprehends his arrest in the aforesaid case.

3. The Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is an old man. A false allegation of the applicant being involved with treasury officials and misappropriating excess pension amount received in his account has been made. The applicant has been implicated by the actual accused who are the treasury officials and middlemen. The applicant is an old man who is also economically weak. Despite this, he has tried to deposit part of the amount received in his account. The Learned counsel has stated that Rs.2 lakhs has been deposited by the applicant and he would make all efforts to deposit the rest of the amount as per his capability.
