Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that petitioner no. 2, Aditya Patel @ Jatin (corpus), went missing on 16.11.2025 and, except for lodging a missing report, no action has been taken by the police authorities till date.

However, learned A.G.A. submitted that the allegation of the petitioners is that petitioner no. 2 is in illegal detention of respondent nos. 4 and 5. It is further submitted that, after due inquiry, the said allegations were found to be false.

Learned A.G.A. is granted two weeks' time to file a detailed counter affidavit with regard to the grievances raised by the petitioners.
