The instant criminal revision has been preferred against the judgment and order dated 01.12.2025 passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Pratapgarh in Maintinance Case No. 513 of 2023 under Section 125 Cr.P.C. whereby the revisionist has been directed to pay Rs.3000/- as maintenance to applicant no.1 from the date of filing of the application.

Heard learned counsel for the revisionist, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the revisionist submits that the revisionist's children, namely, Priyanshu Singh and Himanshu Singh are studying in Sangam Inter College, Katra Medniganj, Pratapgarh and the revisionist spends Rs.13,000/- towards their education and necessary expenses. He has also taken Rs.1,60,000/- as loan through Kishan Credit Card to nurture his children.
