Heard learned counsel for the revisionist and learned A.G.A. for the State as well as learned counsel for respondent/ opposite party no.2.

The instant criminal revision has been preferred against the impugned order dated 21.02.2024, passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Lucknow in Criminal Misc. Case No.981 of 2023 "Smt. Prachi Srivastava versus Abhay Gupta" under Section 125 Cr.P.C. whereby directed the revisionist to pay the interim maintenance @ Rs.15,000/- per month to the respondent no.2 from the date of filing the application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. i.e. 29.05.2023.

A short counter-affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no.2 in reply to the application for disposal of the criminal revision filed by the revisionist, which is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the revisionist submitted that the dispute, being matrimonial in nature, has been amicably settled by them with the intervention of some respectable persons and well-wishers of the parties and no dispute remains between them at this stage. The parties are no longer inclined to proceed with this maintenance matter before the trial court. Therefore, this criminal revision may kindly be disposed of in light of the compromise.

He further submitted that an application has been filed on 06.01.2026 by the revisionist in this regard, wherein a copy of the compromise, signed by the parties and witnesses, has been annexed, in which respondent no.2 has undertaken in paragraph 7 that all 3 cases filed by her against the revisionist are being withdrawn by her on account of the mutual settlement and compromise. A compromise was entered on 26.03.2025, for which respondent no.2 received Rs. 4,80,000/- in lieu of the compromise through a check dated 20.03.2025 and the remaining amount of Rs. 3,20,000/- will be paid to respondent no.2 before the passing of the order of marriage by the family court.

Learned counsel for respondent no.2 expressed his concurrence with the submissions made by learned counsel for the revisionist and submitted that in the reply/ counter affidavit, respondent no.2 has admitted the version of the revisionist in the application dated 26.10.2025.

Learned counsel for the parties have made a joint prayer to dispose off the present revision in terms of the compromise.

The present revision is disposed off in terms of the compromise and the parties are relegated to the court below for further action.
