Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioner no. 1 is major lady, aged about 22 years and she out of her own free-will and consent, had gone with the petitioner no.2 and has already married him on 11.03.2026 and is living peacefully with him.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has next submitted that there is nothing on record to show that the petitioner no.1 was forcibly taken away by the petitioner no.2 and compelled to marry him and as such, no offence whatsoever is disclosed against the petitioners and as such, the impugned first information report qua the petitioners is liable to be quashed.

In view thereof, matter requires consideration.

Issue notice to the respondent no. 4, returnable within four weeks. Steps be taken within a week.

Learned A.G.A. may also file counter affidavit within the same period.

Rejoinder affidavit, if any, may be filed within one week thereafter.
