The instant petition has been filed seeking the following main relief:-

"A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no. 1/Prescribed Authority/Sub-Divisional Officer, Tehsil Kadipur, District Sultanpur, to decide the Election Petition No. 4016 of 2021, (T202104680404016) filed U/s 12(C) of U.P. Panchayat Rat Act, Shri Ram vs. Mahendra and Others, pending before him, within specific time frame preferably within one months."

Heard Mr. M.K. Nishad, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. R.P. Singh, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State-respondent and perused the record.

Considering the limited grievance raised by learned counsel for the petitioner, and without entering into the merits of this case, the Authority concerned is directed to make an endeavour to decide the aforesaid election petition, as expeditiously as possible, from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before it, provided there is no legal impediment. The Authority concerned shall also avoid granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
