Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel and Sri Vinod Kumar Singh, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-Bank.

The present petition has been filed challenging the recovery proceedings initiated by the respondent-Bank through recovery citation.

The Counsel for the respondent-Bank based upon the instructions states that an amount of Rs.4,47,648/- is due and payable by the petitioner.

The Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is ready and willing to pay the entire loan amount along with interest, if some reasonable time may be granted.

Considering the submissions made at the Bar and the request made by the petitioner to repay the entire amount of loan along with interest, the present petition is disposed off directing that the recovery proceedings shall remain stayed subject to the petitioner depositing an amount of Rs.1,47,000/- on or before 30.09.2025. The balance amount of about Rs.3,00,000/- lac shall be paid by the petitioner in 6 equal quarterly installments. The first installment of Rs. 50,000/- will fall due on or before 31.12.2025 and the others on or before 31.03.2026, 30.06.2026, 30.09.2026, 31.12.2026 and 31.03.2027. The last installment will also carry the overdue interest amount.

In case of default of the above conditions, the benefit of this order will not be extended to the petitioner and the respondentBank shall be entitled to recover the entire outstanding loan amount in accordance with law.

It is made clear that no further time shall be granted by this Court.

The respondent-Bank shall provide an updated statement of account to the petitioner within 15 days from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
