Heard Sri Anand Sagar Shukla for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos. 1 to 4 and Sri Sunil Kumar Singh for the respondent no. 5.

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no. 4 to restore the ration card of the petitioner bearing no. 214220603432 and provide him monthly allotted quota of essential commodities.

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that earlier the petitioner had filed Writ-C No. No. 32951 of 2022 seeking the relief against the respondent no. 6 as he was not being given the essential commodities admissible to him on his ration card. The said writ petition was disposed of with the direction to move an application before the redressal forum for ventilation of his grievance. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the respondent no. 4 has cancelled the ration card issued in favour of the petitioner, however, no copy of the said order has been given to him.

In view of the fact that ration card issued to the petitioner has now been cancelled, no relief can be granted to him as prayed.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to obtain a copy of the order cancelling his ration card and challenge it before an appropriate authority, if so advised.
