Heard Sri Rajesh Kumar, holding brief of Sri Kuldeep Johri, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos.1 and 2.

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the award dated 30.9.2024 passed in PW Case No.2 of 2023.

A preliminary objection has been raised by learned Standing Counsel that the petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing appeal under Section 17(1) of the Payment of Wages Act, 1936.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the alternative remedy of appeal under the aforesaid provision of law.
