The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers :-

" (a) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 14.11.2024 passed by the Respondent No. 2 Sub Divisional Officer/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Etah, District Etah;

(b) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to restore the license of the fair price of the petitioner forthwith and permit the petitioner to run her fair price shop in accordance with law. "

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State submits that against an order of cancellation of the fair price shop petitioner has a remedy of filing an appeal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid fact and submits that he may be permitted to file an appeal.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the Appellate Authority against the impugned order within a period of two weeks from today. In the event the appeal is filed within the aforesaid period, the same would be decided on merits without going into the question of limitation. The Appellate Authority is hereby directed to expeditiously decide the appeal without giving any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.
