Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for respondents.

The petitioner is Committee of Management of a College namely Govardhan Inter College, Muftiganj, District Jaunpur. The last election of the Committee of Management of the College was held on 09.01.2022 which was approved by the District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur by order dated 13.01.2022. Since the term of the Committee of Management is about to expire, therefore, the petitioner submitted an application before the District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur on 05.11.2024 requesting him to grant permission to publish the election programme in a newspaper approved by the District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur.

It is contended that the District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur is sitting tight over the matter and is not paying any heed to the application of the petitioner dated 05.11.2024, copy of which is enclosed as Annuexure-8 to the writ petition.

Learned Standing Counsel submits that no useful purpose

would be served in keeping the writ petition pending, and an appropriate direction be issued to respondent no.3 to consider the grievance of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into merits of the case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed off permitting the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no.3-District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur raising all the grievances within a period of two weeks from today. In case any such representation is filed, the respondent no.3 shall consider and decide the same by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of two weeks thereafter.
