Heard Ms. Apeksha Sachdeva, Advocate holding brief of Shri Ram Ji Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

In view of the order proposed to be passed today, notices need not be issued to the private-respondents.

The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition inter-alia with the following prayers:-

"(i) By a suitable writ order or direction issued in the nature of mandamus the Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the respondent no.3 to decide Revision No.1783 of 2009-10, Pushpa Devi versus Pradeep Kumar and others, within the time fixed by the Hon'ble Court.

(ii) By a suitable order or direction issued in the matter the Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the parties to maintain status-quo with regard to the properties in dispute."

From perusal of the facts as narrated in the writ petition it transpires that the matter is pending consideration before the Respondent No.3 namely Board of Revenue, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow from last more than 15 years. It further reveals from perusal of order sheet that on various occasions only the date were fixed without passing any positive orders. It further reveals that on various occasions also the matter was adjourned.

In this view of the matter and also in the interest of justice, the present writ petition is dispose of finally, directing the Registrar, Board of Revenue, U.P. at Lucknow/ Respondent No. 3 to decide the aforesaid revision, most expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from today without granting any unnecessary adjournment.

Registrar (Compliance) is directed to communicate the copy of this order to the Registrar, Board of Revenue, U.P., Lucknow through C.J.M., Lucknow within ten days.
