Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Vivek Kumar Rai, learned counsel for University and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State.

The writ petition is filed with the following prayer:

"i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent no.2 to regularize the services of the petitioner under Section 31-E of U.P. Act No.16 of 1980.

ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondent authorities to permit the petitioner to continue with her services as Lecturer (Philosophy) till the end of academic session i.e. 30.06.2025 in light of statue 16.15 of the First Statute of the respondent no.3 University."

It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner is working on the post of Lecturer (Philosophy) in respondent no.4 education institution, which is an aided institution under the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra. The petitioner is working as an ad hoc Lecturer on honorarium basis and the claim for regularization of services of petitioner is pending consideration before respondent no.2 since the year 2019, however till date, the same has not been decided. Learned counsel for petitioner further submits that petitioner would be entitled to continue in services till the end of academic session i.e. 30.06.2025 in light of Statute 16.15 of the First Statute of respondent no.3-University.

Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel submits that claim of the petitioner for regularization would be decided in a time bound manner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the

respondent no.2-Director of Higher Education, Sarojini Naidu Marg, Allahabad is directed to decide the claim of the petitioner with regard to regularization as well as continuity in services till the end of academic session i.e. 30.06.2025, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of a certified copy of the order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
