Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and Sri Shibli Naseem, learned counsel for the respondent no.3.
The present writ petition has been filed inter-alia for the following reliefs:-
"1. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent nos.2 and 3 to pay all the post retiral benefits to the petitioner including arrears of pension for the month of April, 2024 to October, 2024 (seven months) and arrears of dearness allowance 28%, 31%, 38%, 42%, 46%, 50%, 53%, 55%. and also gratuity amounting to Rs.9,99,900.00 along with leave encashment Rs.6,06000.00. 2. Issue an appropriate order or direction, directing the respondents to pay the interest of all dues amount after retirement of the petitioner i.e. 31.03.2024 to till date at the rate of 18% per annum.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for ventilation of his grievance, the petitioner has made several representations but to no avail.
It is painful to see that without any fault on his part, the petitioner is being compelled to run from pillar to post and has been forced to approach this Court for the payment which is his legal dues. In the present time,

authorities should pay attention in such matters pondering over as to how a person would meet out the needs in daily life of his dependents.
In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the respondent nos.2 and 3 is required to inform the respondents authority either to pay the dues of the petitioner or show cause by filing the counter affidavit on the next date, as to why the payment and arrears of the petitioner has not been paid to him till date.
Put up this case on 11.12.2025 as fresh.
