Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following main prayer :
"(i) To issue a writ, order or directions in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned judgment and order dated 03.05.2023 passed by Armed Forces Tribunal (Regional Bench) Lucknow, in Original Application No199 of 2023 titled as 'Ex 654627 HFO Ram Asrey Gupta (Retd.) vs. Union of India and others" Annexure No.1 to the writ petition.
(ii) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to keep in abeyance the proceeding of the execution established by the respondent and the same may be dismissed."
Learned counsel for the petitioners says that a similar issue has been raised in Writ-A No.9365 of 2023 "Union of India and others vs. Ic-52351-K-Col. Brijendra Singh Bhadauria (Retd.)".
Issue notice to the respondent.
