It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is working as a daily wager with the forest department since 2013 and hence entitled for minimum pay of Rs. 18,000/- as per 7th Pay Commission report. It is further submitted that the controversy involved in this petition is already engaging attention of this Court in Writ - A No. 9383 of 2023.

Learned Standing Counsel could not dispute the above request.

In view of the above, connect this case with Writ - A No. 9383 of 2023 and list on the date fixed in the said case.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner shall be paid minimum of the basic pay of Rs. 18,000/- per month as similarly placed employees of the department, provided the petitioner is continuing and discharging duties under the forest department as on date or cause be shown by the next date fixed.
