Learned counsel for the applicant and Shri R.K. Singh, learned A.G.A. for the State are present.

Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that an order to decide Case No. 6186 of 2005 arising out of Case Crime No. 222 of 2044 under section 379, 411 IPC, Police Station Kasna, District Gautam Budh Nagar, within a period of eight months was passed by the Court on 7.7.2014 in Application u/s 482 No.22817 of 2014 (Singhraj vs. State of U.P.). The said order was also placed by the applicant before the trial court, but despite passage of ten years, the case is still pending.

Before passing any order on the application, it will be expedient to seek the current status of the aforesaid case from the concerned Presiding Officer through concerned District and Sessions Judge to explain the reason as to why the said case is pending despite the direction issued by this Court on 7.7.2014.

Registrar ( Compliance ) is directed to communicate this order to concerned court through District and Sessions Judge for compliance.
