Heard learned counsel for the appellant.
The instant appeal has been preferred under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 assailing the award dated 04.03.2025 passed by M.A.C.T Hardoi in Claim Petition 256 of 2019 whereby on death, a sum of Rs.8,57,000/- though has been awarded along with interest 7% p.a.
Submission of learned counsel for the appellant is that there are several discrepancies in the statement of the witnesses which could not corroborate the occurrence of the accident which was placed and for the said reason, the order stands vitiated.
Considering the aforesaid, let notice be issued to the respondents.
Steps be taken within three days.
Let record be summoned for which steps shall also be taken within the aforesaid period returnable at an early date.
