The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 5.4.2024 passed by this Court in Writ-C No. 9046 of 2024.

The Standing Counsel has obtained instructions and has handed over a copy of the same to the Court, which is taken on record. The instructions shall form part of the records of the case.

On the basis of his instructions, the Standing Counsel states that the claim of the applicant has been decided and rejected by the Deputy District Magistrate, District-Deoria, i.e., the opposite party vide her order dated 17.1.2025. The order dated 17.1.2025 is also part of the instructions handed over to the Court.

As the order passed by the writ Court has been complied by the opposite party, no further orders are required to be passed.

The contempt application is disposed of.

¶11

Notices are discharged.

Let the file be consigned to record.

The Standing Counsel has supplied a copy of the order dated 17.1.2025 to the counsel for the applicant in the Court itself.

The applicant has the remedy to challenge the aforesaid order on merits before appropriate forum.
