Learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that for all practical purposes the present contempt application has become infructuous as the payment has been made to the applicant but interest has not been made.
On being asked from the learned counsel for the applicant whether any direction by the writ court for the payment of interest, he has replied that there is no such direction in the judgement and order dated 9.9.2022 passed by the writ court in Writ-A No.5822 of 2022.
In view of above, the judgement and order passed by the writ court has been complied with and nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present case, therefore, the contempt petition is dismissed as infructuous.
Notice issued earlier, if any, stands discharged.
