1. Heard Sri Virendra Singh, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Bade Lal Bind, learned counsel for the State and perused the material on record.

1. This bail application under Section 483 of B.N.S.S., 2023 has been filed by the applicant- Rishi Kamal , seeking enlargement on bail during trial in connection with Case Crime No. 795 of 2023, under Section 498-A, 304-B I.P.C. and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Chhibramau, District Kannauj.

1. The first information report of the present matter was lodged on 08.12.2023 by Mahesh Kamal against the applicant and Yadram alleging therein that his niece Soni was married to the applicant on 24.02.2023 as per Hindu rites & customs. After marriage the accused were demanding dowry which was told to him and then he told them that he has given all the required items but the accused were continuously raising demand of a motorcycle. Previously they had assaulted his niece on which he had gone to their house and consoled them but they did not agree to it. On 08.12.2023 the applicant (Rishi) assaulted her in a closed room with a wooden stick and murdered her. A report be lodged and action be taken.
