Heard learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Mohd. Haseeb, learned counsel for the respondents.

The instant application has been filed praying for appointment of sole arbitrator under Section 11 (6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as "Act, 1996").

This Court had proposed the name of Sri R.G. Shukla, retired learned District Judge to act as an arbitrator to settle the dispute between the parties.

Vide order dated 16.01.2025, the disclosure on format under the schedule in terms of Section 11 (8) read with Section 12 (1) of the Act, 1996 and Schedule VI and VII as amended by Act, 2015 was also required to be submitted by the proposed arbitrator.

As per office report dated 12.03.2025, the proposed arbitrator has submitted the disclosure as well as his consent.

The Court has perused the disclosure and his consent to act as arbitrator. The same is found to be in compliance to the provisions of the Act 1996 and amended Act, 2015.

In view of above, Sri R.G. Shukla, retired learned District Judge, H. No. 443, Sector-M, Ashiyana, LDA Colony, Kanpur Road Yojana, Lucknow- 226012 U.P. is hereby appointed as an Arbitrator to enter into reference and decide the dispute between the parties herein.

The application is, accordingly, disposed of.

Let a copy of this order be communicated forthwith to Sri R.G. Shukla, retired learned District Judge, H. No. 443, Sector-M, Ashiyana, LDA Colony, Kanpur Road Yojana, Lucknow- 226012 U.P.
