Heard learned counsel for the applicants, learned A.G.A. for the State and Shri Varun Pandey, learned counsel for the Union of India.
After considering the facts of the case, on being asked as to whether any criminal case, as per relevant Notification(s)/Office Memorandum (s) (in short "O.M.") including O.M. No.VI/401/1/5/2019, dated 10.10.2019 issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, is pending against the applicant, learned counsel for the applicant says that no criminal case as defined in paragraph 5 (vi) of the aforementioned Office Memorandum is pending against the applicant before the competent court of jurisdiction.
Taking note of the aforesaid statement, the application for granting permission to travel abroad/granting permission to renew the passport (Application/I.A. No.6 of 2023) is hereby rejected and other application(s), indicated above, stand disposed of accordingly.
