1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA and perused the record.
2. The applicant seeks enlargement on bail in FIR No.25 of 2021, under Section 498A, 304B, 506 IPC & Section 3/4 of D.P. Act, P.S. Mawai, District Faizabad/Ayodhya.
3. In terms of the FIR it was alleged that daughter of the informant was married to the applicant and sufficient dowry was also given, however, subsequently it was informed that the daughter has been killed. The cause of death, as per the postmortem report, is antemortem incised wound.
4. It is argued by learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is in custody since 02.02.2021 and has no criminal antecedents. It is further argued that out of 19 witnesses, 6 witnesses have been examined.
5. Learned AGA has opposed the bail application.
6. Considering that there is no likelihood of the trial being concluded at an early date coupled with the pre-trial detention undergone by the applicant of almost five years and that the applicant has no criminal antecedents, the applicant is entitled to be enlarged on bail. In view thereof, the application is allowed .
7. Let the applicant Ram Singh @ Ramu be released on bail in aforesaid

FIR number on his furnishing a personal bond with two sureties of Rs.20,000/- each to the satisfaction of court concerned with the following conditions:
(a) The applicant shall execute a bond to undertake to attend the hearings;
(b) The applicant shall not commit any offence similar to the offence of which he is accused or suspected of the commission; and
(c) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer or tamper with the evidence.
