Heard learned counsel for the applicants, learned AGA appearing for the State-opposite party no.1.

By means of this application, the applicants have prayed for quashing of the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.57919 of 2025, arising out of FIR No.0235 of 2024, under Sections 406 and 420 IPC, Police Station Indira Nagar, District Lucknow, pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Court No.26, Lucknow.

After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the applicant(s) submits that he does not want to press this application on merit, however, he submits that applicant(s) would like to file an application for discharge under the provisions of Cr.P.C., to which learned counsel for the State, does not have any objection.

Accordingly, the applicant(s) is/are granted liberty to file an application for discharge in conformity with the provisions of Cr.P.C., within a period of two weeks from today. After the said application is filed, learned trial court is directed to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks thereafter. The applicant(s) is/are also granted liberty to appear through his/their counsel. Till expiry of six weeks from today, no coercive steps shall be taken against the applicant(s).
