The petitioner claims to have performed some work in pursuance to the work order dated 28.03.2023 issued by the Block Development Officer, Hasanganj, Unnao. According to him, the work has been completed on 10.10.2023 but the payment of the dues has not been made.
Let the opposite party no. 4, if he is competent in the matter, get the facts verified in the light of the entitlement claimed by the petitioner to the dues, and if he finds after such enquiry that the petitioner is entitled to payment of dues for the work, if any, done by him, then he shall do the needful by making the payment, otherwise, he shall pass a reasoned order and communicate it to the petitioner as to why the payment is not due. Let this exercise be completed within a period of six weeks. It is made clear that we have not adjudicated the entitlement of the petitioner to the dues claimed.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
