Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Rajesh Tewari, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for respondent nos.1 and 2 and Shri Dipak Seth, learned counsel for respondent nos.3 and 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the notification which has been challenged in this writ petition has been challenged in several petitions by similarly situate petitioners. He has produced before this Court, a copy of the interim order passed in Writ Tax No. 62 of 2024 on 29.03.2024 (M/s. Bsa Constructions vs. Union of India and others).

Learned Counsels for the respondents do not dispute that similarly petitions are pending and interim orders have been granted by this Court.

Consequently, while granting time to the respondents to file their counter affidavits, it is provided that till the next date of listing, the respondents are directed to not take any coercive action for enforcing the demand raised vide assessment order dated 15.12.2023 (Anenxure 1 to the writ petition).

Connect and list this petition on 16.07.2024 along with Writ Tax No.62 of 2024 and 66 of 2024.
