Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State Respondents and Sri Dipak Seth, learned counsel for the respondent no.2.
This petition has been filed with the following main prayer:-
"Issue a writ or direction or pass an order in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned ex-parte demand order dated 27.12.2023 issued by the Deputy Commissioner, State Tax, Sector-1, Raebareli Uttar Pradesh i.e., the respondent no.4, under Section 73 of the State Goods & Service Tax Act (Annexure No.6 to the writ petition, respectively)."
It has been admitted by the counsel for the parties that similar controversy is pending before this Court both at Allahabad and at Lucknow. Interim orders have been passed with a direction to the respondents that in pursuance of the impugned show-cause notice, proceedings may go on but final orders should not be passed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner says that in the case of the petitioner, however the order has been finally passed.
