1. Heard Shri Amit Chaudhary, learned counsel for petitioner, Shri Shubham Kumar Kanojia, Advocate holding brief of Shri Rajesh Tewari, learned counsel for respondent no. 3 as well as learned State counsel.

1. The present writ petition has been preferred for quashing of the impugned order dated 26.09.2024 whereby the registration of the petitioner as Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) has been cancelled in the most arbitrary manner without affording any opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and in contravention of Rule 8.5 of the University of Lucknow, Ph.D Ordinance 2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that at no point of time, to the best of the knowledge of the petitioner, his case was put before the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) and the RAC has never issued any corrective measures upon the petitioner and there is no recommendation of the RAC to the Departmental Research Committee (DRC).

1. Learned counsel for the university i.e. respondent nos 4, 5 and 6 prays for and is granted ten days time to seek instructions in the matter as mentioned above, particularly with regard to para-43 of the writ petition.
