Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the opposite parties.

The petitioner shall implead Director, Social Welfare Department, U.P., Lucknow as opposite party no.8 in the writ petition during course of the day

¶6

Let the said Director as also opposite party no.2 file their counter affidavits giving parawise reply to the writ petition and in this process, they shall also answer the following queries:-

i. What action has been taken against the erring officials, who stopped the pension of the petitioner.

¶8

ii. What about the arrears of pension, have the same being paid?

¶9

iii. What is proof of the fact that old age pension of the petitioner has been restored as it is being asserted that it has not been restored as yet and he is not being paid since March, 2024.

List in the first week of December, 2024

¶11

Pendency of this petition shall not come in the way of the opposite parties if they find that there is some lapse in disbursing the arrears of old age pension and the same should be released unless there is no legal impediment in this regard.
